In the Kennebunks’ shipbuilding days of old, for every new vessel built there was a
loyal group of shareholders. Their support financed the ship’s construction, supplied
its able crew, and outfitted it for glorious voyages. Their investment in the ship’s future
gave them a sense of ownership. The ship’s successes were collectively shared and
became a source of great pride and satisfaction.
We invite you to become a “shareholder” in our “ship” by becoming a Member of
The Brick Store Museum. Members are the Museum’s fan club, responsible for
our growth, achievements, and visibility within the community. Members are essential
in helping us on our journey to present new exhibitions and scholarship, sustain our historical buildings,
enhance educational programming for all generations, and provide access and care to our unparalleled
collections. As a Member, you’re not only associating with a prestigious historical landmark, you’re
experiencing the sense of fulfillment that comes from supporting a vibrant cultural institution at the heart of
the Kennebunks. You share in what you’ve helped to create and sustain. As a member of The Brick Store Museum, you are personally invested in supporting the Museum's mission to preserve and present the history of the Kennebunks through exhibitions and educational outreach initiatives. Your involvement helps to protect and promote the important artifacts and history that are an integral part of the region's past and future.
