Sylvia Dupee
Sylvia Covell Dupee (1938 – 1986) was a wonderful mom and taken way too soon. She was an outgoing person, always trying new things. She always shared her talents in the community and impacted other places in the world through her UNICEF efforts. She loved her family but probably loved ice cream more, to the point that she was thrilled when her oncologist told her that ice cream counted towards her fluid intake! She worked more than full-time at volunteering as well as running a household and taking on the role of minister’s wife. In the end, she was no match for her late cancer diagnosis and it’s cautionary tale for everyone to not take good health for granted.
