The Brick Store Museum is continually developing its oral history collection – no story is too small to capture our shared history.
Are you interested in being interviewed? We are actively looking for the following:
- Mid-20th Century childhoods
- Wartime experiences
- Fire of 1947
- Remembrances of Kennebunk and Maine in the 20th Century
These interviews are completed by members of staff and volunteers in our trained History Corps. Please reach out to us via our Contact Us page to learn more!
The Museum’s Archives holds hundreds of hours of oral histories. We are currently working to digitize these materials, and will make a selection of these materials available online for visitors and researchers. If you have questions about using these materials in your publications, please use the Contact Us form to start a conversation.
