The Museum grieves with our entire state as we all interpret the senseless violence in Lewiston. The coming days and weeks will be a time to explore actions we might take as a community to heal and help.
Many folks have called asking if the Museum’s All Souls’ Walk is still on for tomorrow. YES, it is still running! We have consulted with our volunteers and staff, as well as the Kennebunk Police Department, and feel comfortable running the program with additional safety measures in place, including increased presence in the cemetery. We look forward to sharing stories with you.
We understand that some who have purchased tickets may not feel ready to attend. Please call us at (207)985-4802 to receive a refund for your tickets, no questions asked.

The Brick Store Museum’s All Souls’ Walk began its annual Hallowmas season tradition in 2004, with a guided walk through neighboring Hope Cemetery. This year, we celebrate the program’s 20th year running!
The All Souls’ Walk invites participants into Hope Cemetery & Woods, led by a knowledgeable tour guide, to “meet” the ghosts of Kennebunk’s past and learn about the lives of residents that came before us.
Stories and experiences range from funny, to sad, to passionate, to mystifying. Not too spooky, it’s the perfect Halloween activity for the whole family. Must pre-register in advance for the tour. The tour lasts about 75 minutes, and covers roughly a 1/2 mile through the cemetery.
