Visit the Museum on Saturday, September 25th from 10am – 4pm to see the 2020 Bicentennial Quilt Unveiled!
Over the past two years, community quilters, led by Kennebunker Lori Parkinson and the Bicentennial Committee, have created a potholder quilt that speaks to the many definitions of Kennebunk’s past, present and future. Due to the 2020 pandemic, construction of the final quilt was delayed until summer 2021. Now, it’s ready for you to see and celebrate!
The Brick Store Museum is honored to be the host location for the Kennebunk Bicentennial Quilt. This incredible piece of textile work will be unveiled on Saturday, September 25th during Kennebunk’s HarvestFest. Come on downtown and see this magnificent piece of modern-history for yourself!
Lori Parkinson, members of the Bicentennial Committee, and some of the talented quilters will be on hand to answer questions.
Free admission to the Museum all day during HarvestFest!
