Digital Resources to Explore during Quarantine
It’s a scary time for all of us. But just because we’re separated doesn’t mean we can’t share, celebrate, and experience together.
The Museum’s new website (hooray, it’s finally online!) is here to host some great new opportunities you can employ from your living room (or wherever you are!).
The first place to explore is The Digital Learning Center, which pulls all of our accessible resources together on one simple page.
On Facebook and Instagram, we’re hosting daily mini-Collections visits, which features a new object each day. We’re putting those videos, AND new Kennebunk history videos, up on our Youtube Channel weekly.
Additionally, we’ll be scheduling new programs:
- “Museum of Home,” a drop-in weekly video conference for visitors & members to share an object in his/her house with the group;
- Live (digital) & recorded lectures, coming to you from Museum Staff and Volunteers;
- Digital Volunteering (transcriptions, research, and more!)
We’ll update this page with more information as soon as these programs are scheduled.
Next, make sure you take part in our “Community Diary: COVID-19,” which collects perspectives from around our community about your personal experience during this time in our modern history. Here it is below for your convenience:
