Explore the long history of the Kennebunks through changing use of the land over time. This semi-permanent exhibition discusses our shared past from pre-history to the 20th Century.
This exhibition also features the Museum’s ongoing partnership with Kennebunk High School, in which visitors will find a diorama being constructed to illustrate what the village of Kennebunk looked like circa 1895. The Museum recently purchased a 3D printer through the generous support of the Bauman Family Foundation; each building, modeled by KHS STEM students, is printed on location and installed in the diorama. Come visit and see our progress!
