Classes | The Museum School
The Museum has provided educational and cultural enrichment for people of all ages for nearly a century.

Classes for all ages at the Museum began with our founding in 1936. The program further expanded with Edith Barry’s founding of the New Art Center Workshop in 1946, offering classes in a variety of art in the Museum’s Program Center at 4 Dane Street. Though the New Art Center blended with the Museum in 1969, the Museum has continued to be a place of educational programs and classes for all ages. Today, classes offered represent the rich and diverse resources and collections at the Museum and are led by staff and volunteers. The Museum School is a place to learn, explore and let your imagination soar!
